1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
We collect the information you provide when creating your account: your first name, your email address, your birth data (date, time if known, and city of birth) used to compute your birth chart, and the content of your conversations with the AI companion. We also collect subscription and billing data processed by Stripe, and anonymized analytics data collected through Plausible, without cookies.
3. Sensitive data
Your birth data and the personal topics you may discuss in conversation may fall under the special categories of data defined in article 9 of the GDPR. They are processed only with your explicit consent, collected before any processing, solely for the purpose of generating your readings.
3a. People you add and premium reports
When you create a compatibility reading, we store the other person's first name, your relationship type, birth data, computed chart, your confirmation that you have their permission, and the resulting compatibility analysis. You remain responsible for obtaining that permission. For premium reports, we store the order, generated reading and private PDF so you can return to them after purchase. Partner data and compatibility content are used only for that analysis and are never added to the global memory of your AI conversations.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to provide the service (compute your birth chart and readings, manage your subscription), based on the performance of the contract between us. The sensitive data described above is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time by deleting your account. Anonymized analytics data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the service.
5. Subprocessors
We rely on the following subprocessors, each bound by a data processing agreement: our VPS hosting provider, for hosting the application and the database; Stripe, for payment processing; Brevo, for sending transactional emails; and our LLM proxy provider, for generating conversation replies. Some of these subprocessors may process data outside the European Union, under appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention periods
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete a person you added and all compatibility analyses linked to them at any time. If you delete your account, partner records, compatibility analyses, report orders, generated readings and PDF files are permanently and immediately erased, except where we are legally required to retain certain billing records for a limited period.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, and the right to data portability. You can correct or delete a person from Explore, and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account page or by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) if you believe your rights have not been respected.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, including encrypted connections and restricted access to production systems.
9. Cookies
We use a single session cookie, strictly necessary to keep you signed in. Our analytics, provided by Plausible, are cookie-free and do not track you individually.
